VCDS Data logging guide VW/Audi VAG

VCDS is a unique interface which is easy to use.

Optimal data acquisition during the logging process is achieved when utilizing 4th gear due to the increased load on the vehicle.

To initiate the log, it is advisable to commence in 4th gear at 1500 or lower.

The logging procedure should be initiated by starting the data capture and subsequently engaging 100% throttle, allowing the engine to rev up to the predefined rev limiter threshold.

This systematic approach aims to identify any irregularities, spikes, or issues pertaining to boost levels or rail pressure, facilitating a comprehensive analysis of the vehicle's performance.

Data logging is simple, see below for guide on how to use it.
